Mission and vision
The mission of the Faculty of English Language is to stimulate teaching and English –American Literature through regular intensive programs and additional courses on the basis of requirement.
The Faculty of English Language has aims to serve individuals who want to acquire English language and is dedicated to offer instructions and the best opportunities of practicing this language using modern materials and techniques in an acquisitive environment. These goals are being achieved by the qualified and active staff to fulfill students’ needs for the success of all students and focus on the group functioning as a team towards the biggest thing.
Vision
This faculty’s vision is to reach the highest teaching and research levels in the field of services related to the English language, in education and development of human resources.
Its another vision is to make students eminent in disclosures, researches and to provide professional services which are in full accordance with the requirements that emerge from economical and social developments.
Why studying English language?
Learning English language offers you a chance to improve your life. Learning English language is another chance to join Kosovo with the global world. We can illustrate this with some questions which should be answered by you. Will the access in information be preferable? To talk and to write with people with whom others cannot communicate? Three years of studies is a long time but for the students of English department its study shows a big challenge and opportunity as well, for debates in stimulating way. English language enables you to develop your personal interests, access to cultures and different histories. Today there are more than one milliard people who speak English language all over the world so the opportunity of cooperation and communication with these people in a world that is day by day becoming lesser is exactly the English language.
About the Faculty of English language and Literature
The Faculty of English language began its activity on its first foundation days of Uni-Pz. The focus of Faculty of English language is on critical reading, analytical resonance and writing which are essential. These kinds of specifications and the teaching staff makes this faculty more advanced from the other ones.
Uni-Pz is more advanced according to its teaching way. The most important part of teaching is study at this faculty in which students have the opportunity to ask for practical advices from the mentor of this faculty, to discuss their works and their requirements during their study process.
Faculty of English language on its program covers the whole history of English language and English literature from the Anglo-Saxon period till today. In addition, there are also attempts to advance this program. The sources of informatics’ technology are being used sensibly so this program also includes this weighty field during studies. From the beginning of its activity this faculty provides study programs in accordance with Bologna Declaration by applying 3+2 program. Its three basic years provides student with the Bachelor title, whereas the other two years are advanced Master studies.

The future students
English language is not one-dimensional; it is flexible which opens a range of opportunities for career selection. Graduators from English language posses writing skills, speaking skills, skills on independent work and the critical thinking which are evaluated by the employers. In objection to the traditional faith, the teaching is not the only profession for the graduators from English language but they can also choose their career on explorations and language consults, in public services and in edition division.

Faculty of Political Sciences attempts not only for the leadership in advanced theories of rational choice but also for the leadership of the advance of political sciences studies. From the beginning till now, we have a notion of many sufficient needs for studying. These notions include rigorous theories, evaluation and study of the phenomena which appear in this field in the whole world.
We are committed to maintain the faculty on equal line with the achievements on developing and applying of political sciences. We are also committed to these systematic approaches to be used in favor of elaboration and the understanding of political rules in a real world. We know that politics is complex and rich in institutional aspect and has consequences for the society and an individual as well. As a result, we are careful on developing of this faculty and study programs on a line with institutional standards by showing particular care on the importance and social values on political decisions in kosovar society and in integral European and the world processes.
Faculty of Political Sciences aims to become leader of the political sciences' programs with the institutions of comparable character and size. Following this goal the Faculty of political sciences is committed to desirable teaching, knowledge and monitoring. By providing an advanced program that includes opportunities on independent researches and teaching as well, outside the teaching areas, this faculty promotes knowledge on the discipline of political sciences, civilian participation and leadership.
Why studying political sciences?
Politics has to do with the people and the power on that who takes it and how uses it, and what makes an undivided society. Next, why the political conflicts occur and how they can be solved, and how the power in various societies is organized.
The study of politics means the study of real world and the development of abilities to give an understanding to the world. The study of this science enables you the possession of analytical and practical abilities which are valuable for the work trade. Graduators of politics are known as flexible people and who can be preferable to various positions of modern life.
About Faculty of Political Sciences - FPS - UPz
The basic program was formed on the basis of its vision. Due to its theoretical and practical work in local official institutions which apply the politics, we provide students with the opportunity of possessing of this science and their entry to the world of politics. Students gain knowledge of political behaviours of institutions all over the world, the politics' nature on the other side of globe, the conflict sources and international cooperation.
Students who enter to studies of this discipline should be familiar with political methodology which brings them a knowledge base on reading and interpreting the data. Students will acquire argumentation by enabling them a framework to construct, protect and criticize theories and evidences.
Development and modernism of teaching and research work show the priorities of the Faculty of political sciences. From the start of its activity the Faculty of Political Sciences applies 3+2 study program in accordance with the Bologna Declaration.
We offer you education opportunities for Bachelor and Master Levels based on requirements and they will undergo continual improvements.
Studying of politics enables you a work preparedness in governmental organizations (administrative and research positions), political organizations, non-governmental organizations as lobbing group and communitarian structures, media and international organizations. It also shows a good basement for further studies on law, urban studies, environmental studies and other fields.
