Mission and vision
The FEUP’s mission is to create and to spread knowledge so that students can have an opportunity to enter the world of business and at the same time it gives an opportunity to the business community to provide personnel with knowledge with the time.
Vision
FEUP will be part of leaders in economical sciences being built on the experience of our national economy and the South-East Europe’s economy as well, and by carrying academic standards on teaching and explorations and this the way of strengthening the students’ future contribution in economical developments. FEUP will adapt teaching programs, trade requirements and business advances into the global economy.
Why studying economy?
The economy is a department which gathers a huge number of students for the reason that it helps you see deeply the world that surrounds you – it answers the questions, why and how the economical program functions in the world. Also, it provides you with new perspective upon global challenges which the whole world faces today. The economical science provides us with information on charity, financial trade and the effects on businesses’ activities.
The economy provides us with knowledge on past economical movements in the whole world and advanced knowledge due to which it is possible the decision making and activities in different social fields and our everyday life. In a world in which the debates on insufficient resources intensify day by day, there is the economics which plays an important role on that how to allocate these resources in more efficient way so that the charity is increased.
About FEUPz – Faculty of Economy
FEUP was founded at the same time with Uni-Pz and it iso one of the biggest faculties today.
The development and modernism of teaching and research work present the priorities of FEUP from the beginning.From the beginning of its function, the Faculty of Economy applies 3+2 study program in accordance with the Bologna Declaration.
Continuing the development improvement, Uni-Pz was licensed by MEST (Ministry of Education, Science and Technology) which proofs again the commitment of engaged staff in this high school institution. The Faculty of Economy includes scholars who are part of considerable number of influenced organizations in our lives. One part of scholars of economical phenomena have publicized their knowledge in books and articles, whereas the rest of them are part of books collection at the University library.
We give you an education opportunity for Bachelor and Master Levels which are in accordance with the time demands and as they are they will have continual improvements.
If you join the Faculty of Economy, you as a student or a visitor will be provided a comfortable University environment.
Future students
FEUP with its academic staff, with reciprocal cooperation either the business community or public institutions, has as a mission the effective preparedness of students in order to resist to actual changes.
Very disciplinary nature of Unit-Pz provides important knowledge on social sciences, , especially economical ones in accordance with the reality in which the sciences has an important influence. We are engaged on issues, events and opportunities that time brings and their transfer in analytical frameworks and in knowledge which bring brightness upon actual challenges.
