Mission and vision
The Faculty of Law’s mission at the University of Prizren (FLUPz) is to build students throughout lawful education that they are ready to contribute on development of lawful society in the future. Faculty of Law gives you an opportunity of lawful studies in a convenient university environment so that the students can achieve their goals and who will give a contribution for the region and the wide society.
Vision
Faculty of Law will continue to be the foundation of lawful community in the region by educating lawyers, scholars of international law and public servants even though the faculty with its short history has achieved to contribute on this goal continuously. Furthermore, the Faculty of Law will cultivate the formed tradition as an institution acquired for better teaching methods. Faculty of Law enables students to increase their capacities, the critical thinking for the society either for priorities or eventual difficulties by adding theoretical and practical doctrine in order to promote a justice society, individual freedom and the foundation of legal state.
Why studying law?
In democratic societies the qualification with a law diploma possesses a special respect. It opens horizons for many career opportunities besides the justice practice for the reason that justice improves resonance, the clearness of thoughts, and the ability of analysis and expression of complex ideas. These kinds of abilities are required in other fields including economy, social services, politics; Media etc.So an education of law sciences opens many doors besides the justice practice.
Studying of law is stimulating and it requires an intellectual engagement that will motivate you to study law on the basis of the academic staff’s requirements.
Students of faculty of Law gain skills which are attractive for many employers such as, communication ability, the ability of problem solving, the independent thinking, research perfection either printed literature or online one.

At the Faculty of Law we continue to persuade the Unit-Pz’s goal to provide a better possible education. We also look at our programs to be in accordance with the circumstances so that we are able to answer positively to the society’s needs that we serve.
The main subjects of professional preparation are provided in small groups in order to enable the students’ access in lectures in interactive way for beneficial purposes of scientific knowledge. Development and modernism of teaching and research work present the priorities of Faculty of Law. With the beginning of its function this faculty applies 3+2 study program in accordance with the Bologna Declaration.
We give you an education opportunity for Bachelor and Master Levels which are in accordance with the time demands and as they are they will have continual improvements.

The future students
In its building process the Faculty of Law enables you to gain from the academic staff and the community which is progressing due to their contribution for fundamental goal of the Faculty of Law on serving the society. We prepare our students by providing them a stable program including also subjects already formed which are enriched with international perspective adding the reciprocal cooperation between Uni-Pz and institutions which study or apply the justice.
